A New World Order?

There is much debate on whether there are plans for a New World Order or if it's just some wild bird brain conspiracy cracked up by pimple face kids, sitting in their underwear living in their parents basement with nothing else better to do then make up stories.

Me personally I try to avoid believing any conspiracy theories. I gather whatever "facts" I can and make my decision from there.

With that said, A picture is worth a thousand words. A word is worth one word. So what's a video worth? Your freedom.

George H.W. Bush, 41st President of the United States:

"We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a New World Order. A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance as this New World Order. An order in which a credible United Nations can use it's peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders."

So let's actually dig a little deeper shall we? Starting with "A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations."

That's a pretty self explanitory statement. But law of the jungle? The law of the jungle is an expression meaning "Everyone for themselves".

The egotistical thinking of globalists never ceases to amaze me. Do they actually think that we need just one person to tell all 6 billion of us in the world what to do? That people cannot individually govern themselves, in peace? If I had confidence like that, i'd would have been sleeping with super models and movie actresses.

"When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance as this New World Order" The smug look on his face when he said "...and we will be..." angers me and I'm sure a lot of other people. If only more people knew.

And for the last piece i'd like to disect. "...to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders."

So who are the U.N. founders? The Council on Foreign Relations.

The Council on Foreign relations was created by a man by the name of Colonel Edward M. House who was the main advisor to President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson gave House the permission to write his 14 points to a peace conference in Paris, France after WWI. On his 14th point he said the "general association of nations," which was to be the first step towards the goal of One World Government-the League of Nations.

The U.S. senate failed to ratify the Versailles treaty so the League of Nations failed shortly after.

*interesting note* Colonel Edward M. House was also known as the "guardian angel" of the Federal Reserve act of 1913 which Woodrow Wilson covertly pushed into law. Putting it up two (2) days before Christmas in 1913 on December 23rd. Every since the Federal Reserve act, our dollar has been in a steady decline. Read a previous article of mine from a few days back for more details on it.

So WWI ended, The League of Nations ended and WWII was on it's way. After WWII ended the United Nations was created. To kind of fix the broken pieces of the League of Nations.

The United Nations were created also by the CFR. They learned from their mistakes, made some improvements on the men they owned and a successful organization was created.

The United Nations is housed on land in Manhattan which was donated by the family of the current chairman of the CFR, David Rockefeller.

So it really appears that from building the central bank (federal reserve), and the league of nations which failed and then the United Nations which is still going strong, the council on foreign relations is really after a New World Order. According to former President Herbert Walker Bush.

So who of importance is on The Council of Foreign Relations? You can actually look at your candidates running for President on both democratic and republican to find members. And you wont find just 1 or 2... Here's a list startin from Democratic to Republican:

Hillary Clinton - Senator NY
Barack Obama - Senator IL
John Edwards - Senator NC
Joseph Biden - Senator DE
Chris Dodd - Senator CT
Bill Richardson - Governor NM
Rudy Giuliani - Mayor NYC
Fred Thompson - Senator TN
John McCain - Senator AZ
Mitt Romney - Governor MA

And he's not a member, but did have meetings with them in September, just about when his numbers in the polls started to jump up, Former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas.

Other members of the CFR, John Kerry, Condi Rice, George H.W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Robert Gates (new secretary of defense), Alan Greenspan, Chris Heinz (the ketchup man! daughter married John Kerry), Paula Zahn (CNN news anchor), Barbara Walters, Paul Wolfowitz (former ceo of World bank - completely different article for future times)

Corporations in the CFR:

ABC News, Google, Haliburton, Heinz, JPMorgan, American Express, Bank of America, Mastercard, Visa, News Corp, Coke and Pepsi among others.

There are only 3 candidates running for President who are not a member of the CFR and that's Mike Gravel, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich. All three of which are constantly left off polls and left out of the media, despite great strives in their campaign and what the people want.

Now most of you may call me a nut, kook, conspiracy theorist, jerk, idiot, bafoon, idiot, dumbass, and any other name you can think of because you're not ready to hear the truth. That's fine. Not too long ago I was just like you. But I started to ask questions and I started to realize the truth. Then I started to actually listen to what these "leaders" were saying.

I mean how many ways can you take "When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance as this New World Order." when George H.W. Bush says it? He didn't say it because he thought it sounded cool. He didn't say it because he wanted to confuse people. He didn't even say it because he read it in a magazine on the crapper right before giving his speech. There's an agenda, and you didn't get the memo. The worst thing of all of this is, you fund it.

So start asking questions and doing research and listen to these people. The information is out there. Just pay attention and go at it with an open mind. It's scary at first but I'll be here with answers to questions if you need it.

Colonies More Prosperous Than The Home Country

This is a story on how Benjamin Franklin made New England prosperous. It's a really good article. It wasn't written by me but enjoy it just the same! You'll learn a thing or two about what our founding fathers intended for us.

The following historical story is taken from a radio address given by Congressman Charles G. Binderup of Nebraska, some 50 years ago and was reprinted in Unrobing the Ghosts of Wall Street:

Colonies More Prosperous Than The Home Country

Before the American War for Independence in 1776, the colonized part of what is today the United States of America was a possession of England. It was called New England, and was made up of 13 colonies, which became the first 13 states of the great Republic. Around 1750, this New England was very prosperous. Benjamin Franklin was able to write:

“There was abundance in the Colonies, and peace was reigning on every border. It was difficult, and even impossible, to find a happier and more prosperous nation on all the surface of the globe. Comfort was prevailing in every home. The people, in general, kept the highest moral standards, and education was widely spread.”

When Benjamin Franklin went over to England to represent the interests of the Colonies, he saw a completely different situation: the working population of this country was gnawed by hunger and poverty. “The streets are covered with beggars and tramps,” he wrote. He asked his English friends how England, with all its wealth, could have so much poverty among its working classes.

His friends replied that England was a prey to a terrible condition: it had too many workers! The rich said they were already overburdened with taxes, and could not pay more to relieve the needs and poverty of this mass of workers. Several rich Englishmen of that time actually believed, along with Mathus, that wars and plague were necessary to rid the country from man-power surpluses.

Franklin’s friends then asked him how the American Colonies managed to collect enough money to support their poor houses, and how they could overcome this plague of pauperism. Franklin replied:

“We have no poor houses in the Colonies; and if we had some, there would be nobody to put in them, since there is, in the Colonies, not a single unemployed person, neither beggars nor tramps.”

Thanks To Free Money Issued By The Nation

His friends could not believe their ears, and even less understand this fact, since when the English poor houses and jails became too cluttered, England shipped these poor wretches and down-and- outs, like cattle, and discharged, on the quays of the Colonies, those who had survived the poverty, dirtiness and privations of the journey. At that time, England was throwing into jail those who could not pay their debts. They therefore asked Franklin how he could explain the remarkable prosperity of the New England Colonies. Franklin replied:

“That is simple. In the Colonies, we issue our own paper money. It is called ‘Colonial Scrip.’ We issue it in proper proportion to make the goods and pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to no one.”

The Bankers Impose Poverty

The information came to the knowledge of the English Bankers, and held their attention. They immediately took the necessary steps to have the British Parliament to pass a law that prohibited the Colonies from using their scrip money, and then ordered them to use only the gold and silver money that was provided in sufficient quantity by the English bankers. Then began in America the plague of debt-money, which has never since brought so many curses to the American people.

The first law was passed in 1751, and then completed by a more restrictive law in 1763. Franklin reported that one year after the implementation of this prohibition on Colonial money, the streets of the Colonies were filled with unemployment and beggars, just like in England, because there was not enough money to pay for the goods and work. The circulating medium of exchange had been reduced by half.

Franklin added that this was the original cause of the American Revolution - and not the tax on tea nor the Stamp Act, as it has been taught again and again in history books. The financiers always manage to have removed from school books all that can throw light on their own schemes, and damage the glow that protects their power.

Franklin, who was one of the chief architects of the American independence, wrote it clearly:

“The Colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament, which has caused in the Colonies hatred of England and the Revolutionary War.”

This point of view of Franklin was confirmed by great statesmen of his era: John Adams, Jefferson, and several others. A remarkable English historian, John Twells, wrote, speaking of the money of the Colonies, the Colonial Scrip:

“It was the monetary system under which America’s Colonies flourished to such an extent that Edmund Burke was able to write about them: ‘Nothing in the history of the world resembles their progress. It was a sound and beneficial system, and its effects led to the happiness of the people.’”

John Twells adds:

“In a bad hour, the British Parliament took away from America its representative money, forbade any further issue of bills of credit, these bills ceasing to be legal tender, and ordered that all taxes should be paid in coins. Consider now the consequences: this restriction of the medium of exchange paralyzed all the industrial energies of the people. Ruin took place in these once flourishing Colonies; most rigorous distress visited every family and every business, discontent became desperation, and reached a point, to use the words of Dr. Johnson, when human nature rises up and assets its rights.”

Another writer, Peter Cooper, expresses himself along the same lines. After having said how Franklin had explained to the London Parliament the cause of the prosperity of the Colonies, he wrote:

“After Franklin gave explanations on the true cause of the prosperity of the Colonies, the Parliament exacted laws forbidding the use of this money in the payment of taxes. This decision brought so many drawbacks and so much poverty to the people that it was the main cause of the Revolution. The suppression of the Colonial money was a much more important reason for the general uprising than the Tea and Stamp Act.”

Today, in America as well as in Europe, we are under the regime of the Scrip of the Bankers instead of the scrip of the nation. Hence the public debts, everlasting interest charges, taxes that plunder purchasing power, with the only result being a consolidation of the financial dictatorship.

There is only one cure for America’s ultimate financial collapse and that is for Congress to exercise Clause 30 of the “Federal” Reserve Act, buy the outstanding shares of stock, shut down this unconstitutional system and sell off their assets to reimburse the people of this nation for this unspeakable theft of their wealth. This is the first installment of postings on this issue, new ones will be put up as soon as manpower allows.

Pretty Excited!

Well, as many of you know, but some may not... I'm a stay at home dad. I'm recently out of the Marines and it's easier right now to just sit at home with my two little ones.

So of course money is tight. I've felt pretty guilty being such an advocate for the Ron Paul campaign, but unable to donate any money or buy anything from his store.

Well since I have the most amazing wife in the world! And it is the christmas season! And the fact that we suck at keeping surprises for christmas....

... I've found out that I'll be getting a Ron Paul T-shirt for xmas and it's not much but I'll be able to donate $20 on the 16th of december during the Tea Party money bomb which honestly means a lot to me. So I have to say, with the exception of my daughter being born 5 days after christmas, this is the best christmas I've had in many, many, many years.

We also got to splurge on christmas gifts for the kids. (Thankfully they can't read yet. Too young). Both of the kids are obsessed with playing in the kitchen, and we took them to a learning center a few months back and they wouldn't leave this Toy kitchen play set alone. So we went to Toys 'R' Us and got them one.

We also picked up a big bucket of plastic food and a kick ass little microwave (actually moves with lights and a dinger). It even has a little timer on it like a real microwave and counts down until it's ready.

We also picked up my son a lot of 'Cars' the movie toys and bought my daughter a small Disney Princess baseball bat and ball.

And my daughter got a real life child sized stroller with car seat and a baby. (she's obsessed with babies).

And we got a bunch of other little stuff like that. Also a plastic T-ball stand and ball for my son.

For those of you who do not know. My family is huge into baseball. My uncle played against some major league baseball players while in High School and did well against them (Bobby Bonds, etc).

And for me I played against dozens, and dozens of Major League players and big college stars at major universities. Out of high school I had dozens of scholarship offers from big baseball schools like ASU, Cal State Fullerton, etc.

I did well in College and was promised a first round draft pick from the Baltimore Orioles and during my high school days I was rated the best high school catcher in the entire country. So long story short my family is nuts for baseball. And i'm insanely excited to be able to work with my son in baseball. It's a family tradition.

Unfortunately I injured my shoulder during college and was never the same player again. Even to this day I still hurt if I throw a ball.

So yea, that's how my days been. It's been a long time since I've been able to be extremely happy. How about everyone else. how are your days going?!

Federal Reserve rate cuts

The interest rate that affects your credit cards, car payments and home equity lines of credit dropped a smidgenTuesday afternoon. The Federal Reserve lowered the short-term rate hoping to goose an economy some fear is teetering on recession. Stocks plunged following the Fed's announcement...

Here is what the rates have looked like over the past couple of years.

SO WAIT! Wait a second... whooooaaaa

The Federal Reserve controls the interest rates I pay on my credit cards and my car payments? And even on the home equity? Why would the government raise these rates?

What if I were to tell you that the Federal Reserve isn't controlled or monitored by the government.

YES CLASS. IT'S TIME FOR INTERACTIVE TIME! (small applause)

Q: So where did the Federal Reserve come from?

A: In 1913, Woodrow Wilson rushed to implement the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, a few days before the Holidays so it would be met with very little opposition. December 23, 1913 to be exact.

Q: Why would he do it with little say from the senate or anyone else?

A: The Federal Reserve, or Central Bank, is not a bank controlled by the government. Hell, our laws don't even govern them. It is owned by private members.

Q: Who worked to get this Act working?

A: A Group of bankers went and spent 10 days at Jekyll Island, Georgia. The executives included Frank Vanderlip, president of the National City Bank of New York, associated with the Rockefellers; Henry Davison, senior partner of J.P. Morgan Company; Charles D. Norton, president of the First National Bank of New York; and Col. Edward House, who would later become President Woodrow Wilson's closest adviser and founder of the Council on Foreign Relations.[5] There, Paul Warburg of Kuhn, Loeb, & Co. directed the proceedings and wrote the primary features of what would be called the Aldrich Plan. Warburg would later write that "The matter of a uniform discount rate (interest rate) was discussed and settled at Jekyll Island." Vanderlip wrote in his 1935 autobiography From Farmboy to Financier:

I was as secretive, indeed I was as furtive as any conspirator. Discovery, weknew, simply must not happen, or else all our time and effort would have beenwasted. If it were to be exposed that our particular group had got together andwritten a banking bill, that bill would have no chance whatever of passage by Congress…I do not feel it is any exaggeration to speak of our secret expedition to Jekyll Island as the occasion of the actual conception of what eventually became the Federal Reserve System.”

So why the secrecy? Were they trying to fool the American public out of their money? You bet your fuzzy ass they were.

Q: So does the Federal Reserve just control Interest rates?

A: NO! They also control our money supply.

Before the Federal Reserve Act, our money was backed by gold and silver. You can see on our money in 1905 (shown below) it was even printed that it was backed by gold.

Today, you'll read on the 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 that it no longer says this. It says "Legal Tender". Which means it's BACKED BY NOTHING!

So what does this mean? It means that they can print out a dollar, loan it to the U.S. government to issue to the population and charge them interest on it.

So for argument sake, lets say that they print $1 and issue it to the U.S. Government. Now with interest, that $1 is now costing the U.S. Government $2. So where does the government get the $2 to repay the central bank? Since the Federal Reserve has a monopoly on our money, they print out the $2 give it to our government and once again charging interest.

See what's going on here? it's a viscious cycle. So basically they can print money out of thin air, and continue to do so for the sake of maintaining enough money in circulation.

So what you may ask? Well Money Supply is where we get our inflation from. Our dollar today is worth $.04 to the $1 it was worth in 1913, shortly before the Federal Reserve took control in November of 1914.

Here's an analogy for you:

If you walked up to me starving and on your last life and asked me for an apple to eat. You would cherish that apple. It would be your most prized possession and worth it's weight in gold!

But lets say I gave you 100 apples instead of just 1. Then you'd eat about 5 or so until you got full. Then realized that carrying 95 apples around was too difficult. You'd most likely just give away most of the apples or even throw a few of them away. It's worth is less to you now.

Same thing applies with Money. If you just continue to print and print and print, it's worth becomes less. This is why we see things cost $1.25 for the same item that used to cost $.05 in the 1950's.

What would our founding fathers say about a Central Bank? Well they had ideas on it too.

The colonies actually had their own money (as shown below). They were a very prosperous nation.

Benjamin Franklin:

“There was abundance in the Colonies, and peace was reigning on every border. It was difficult, and even impossible, to find a happier and more prosperous nation on all the surface of the globe. Comfort was prevailing in every home. The people, in general, kept the highest moral standards, and education was widely spread.”

“We have no poor houses in the Colonies; and if we had some, there would be nobody to put in them, since there is, in the Colonies, not a single unemployed person, neither beggars nor tramps.”

And as I said above, they had their own money, as Benjamin Franklin says below:

“That is simple. In the Colonies, we issue our own paper money. It is called ‘Colonial Scrip.’ We issue it in proper proportion to make the goods and pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to no one.”

Outraged, King George III from England outlawed colonial money! And forced them to deal with the England central bank (yes, central bank - just like the federal reserve of today).

The true cause of the revolutionary war wasn't taxation. Benjamin Franklin said:

“The Colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament, which has caused in the Colonies hatred of England and the Revolutionary War.”

So in short, things need to be changed. We need to abolish the income tax, and the federal reserve (inflation tax). We need to get back to a gold standard. Otherwise our economy will collapse (as you see it happening today).

So find a presidential candidate running that would support these actions. I'm not going to tell you who. Find one that best suits your needs and the needs of this country. Vote for them and spread the word. Change has to be made, or we could become a third world country. Just like how Russia went from Superpower to a Third world country.

Welcome to WWIII

In an effort to expand its military presence in the international arena and reestablish a naval presence in the Middle East, Russia has dispatched a naval fleet to the region, including a guided missile cruiser, two anti-submarine ships and 47 fighter planes. The fleet will dock at the Syrian port of Tartus where Russia maintains a technical base. At the same port, Iranian ships are also docked.

Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov told reporters that the expedition "is aimed at ensuring a naval presence and establishing conditions to secure Russian navigations." Serdyukov added that the fleet will conduct tactical exercises with real and simulated launches of sea and air based missiles and intends to call at a number of different ports in the region.

In the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia would respond in the event Iran was attacked by a foreign power. Boosting Russia's naval presence in the area could well be an attempt to signal to Israel and possibly America that if Iran is attacked, Russia will strike back.

The Russian President has stressed on numerous occasions that he strives to become more involved in the Middle East, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Whether such a large Russian presence docked at the Syrian port, will hamper Israeli navy operations or intelligence gathering missions remains to be seen.

So basically, Hello WWIII.

So season two of his reality show moves from 45 and single to 46 and married.

Michael Vick wears a new uniform

Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons switches from his Atlanta Falcons black and red wearing #7 to a federal uniform today. After being convicted of cruelty to animals for hosting dog fighting at his home, former QB star gets 23 months in prison.

I hope that he's somewhat able to make a comeback from all of this. If not in the NFL, in life. He was a tremendous talent with a lot of learning to do. He could have easily been the best QB in the NFL.

As some of you may or may not know. Today is the anniversary of the day the Japanese navy snuck into Pearl Harbor and destroyed 3,000 sailors and Marines lives and crippled our pacific fleet. This day was the day America started to bleed.

To the Congress of the United States

Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with the government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleagues delivered to the Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or armed attack.

It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. Very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.

Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched an attack against Malaya.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.

This morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.

Japan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the United States have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.

Always will we remember the character of the onslaught against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.

I believe I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make very certain that this form of treachery shall never endanger us again.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.

The Story.

I was actually told about this story before the mainstream media picked up on it and before the bloggers and mud slingers first laid scent to it.

My aunt-in-law lives in Arkansas and I asked her opinion on huckabee a few weeks back and she went off about the man. She even spit in his general direction, electronically of course. It's well known in Arkansas that he was the man who released this rapist, according to her.

Just reviewing this story with the CNN fact sheet, I'm amazed at the hole I see this man digging for himself. If he came clean to what happened, i'm sure he'd still be doing decent in the polls.

Let's examine some of the discrepencies i'm seeing here. Three parole board membes have stepped forward to say that Mike Huckabee pressured them into releasing DuMond from prison during his parole. He says that he never spoke with the parole board about DuMond, but his aide said that it was discussed, although no pressure was placed on the members.

Now, I'd be skeptical at the accuasations as well if I haven't seen about four sources saying otherwise. My aunt-in-law is extremely upset with this situation before it became Mainstream media (MSM), and there's not one, but three board members accusing him of pressuring. It's like Michael Jackson having 3 boys call him a molestor. The entire world knows he did it! Even bubbles was afraid of Michael! (His pet chimp)

What I don't buy about Huck defending himself is, he wrote this guy a letter feeling pity for the man. Good on him for admitting at least that, but that just goes to show me based off the letter of pity, the parole board members accusations, his aide not agreeing with him 100%, and my aunt being so pissed that she'll e-spit in the former governors face that this story isn't adding up.

It appears to me that between all these lies and some religious battle going on with Mitt Romney, that this guy really isn't what we need.

I went to mikehuckabee.com and read one of the blogs. One of the comments from a Pro-huck member said "preemptive (love the choice of words) strike this story. Tell them that you made a mistake that you regret and you're sorry". Well we all know of a man who made a mistake once, and it's landed us in a war with no end in sight for the past 4, almost 5 years.

Reviewing the huckabee blogs on his official campaign website is definitely interesting reading. They're either supportive 100% with blind faith, or they're starting to question the man they are supporting or even trying to downplay this whole fiasco. I don't know how you can downplay the release of a convicted rapist with life in prison, who goes out and rapes and murders again.

Hell, a woman who was raped by this man before said that she wrote a letter to Mike Huckabee, which his aides said they received and he read, and she stated that she feared that he would not only rape again but kill to leave no witnesses this time.

A Soldier's Personal Revolution

I joined the Army in the early months of 2001; my patriotism led me to the recruiter’s office. I had grown up in awe of my grandfathers and their stories of World War II, and their reminiscing became my dreams. When I got to basic training I did not talk about missing home like the other recruits around me, I felt at home in ways I never had before.

The weeks after 9/11 found me in Kosovo, part of C co 3/7 Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division, patrolling the border with Macedonia as part of our duties. We had ammunition to defend ourselves with and the authority to apprehend anyone crossing the border illegally. I will get back to why these details are important later.

Fast forward to 2003, I am rolling across the desert in the back of a Bradley fighting vehicle, part of the spearhead into Iraq. Other than those first three weeks of “Shock and Awe” what I remember most about Iraq was the people. Crowds of kids wanting to know about Michael Jackson and Britney Spears, open-minded adults wanted to know about our social freedoms, and ninety some percent of Iraqis just wanted to raise their families in peace and did not hesitate to tell us. I really fell in love with the Iraqi people. My platoon and I played soccer with some of those crowds of kids, we had dinner and shared food with families in their homes, we even went to a few house parties, and my lieutenant and I spent one very memorable afternoon swimming in an irrigation ditch with five young women. It is all of them I think of when anyone tells me we need to turn the Middle East into a sheet of glass or that all Muslims are our enemies.

I remember thinking on this briefly when I was there, but more so since I’ve returned, usually when I’m day dreaming behind the wheel of my van, but what we were doing when we were doing our jobs, patrolling the streets, conducting road blocks vehicle searches, bodily searching individuals, and searching houses, couldn’t be helping our long range plans for winning hearts and minds. I really have to wonder, how long would it take me to move from a position of thanks for my despotic government being removed to feeling like I lived in a conquered and occupied country if I saw foreign troops on the streets of my hometown Tallahassee everyday? Add to this our having bases and troops in Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia, ( I may have missed a few, we have approximately 700 bases in 130 countries ) some of them for decades, our Navy of their coast, our fighter jets in their sky’s , the CIA in business with monarchs, dictators and thugs, and our State Department treating their leaders like irresponsible children, it’s no wonder moderate Muslims takes to the streets shouting “ Death to America” and a minority takes action against us. I would expect we would be doing the same thing if say, China had bases on our soil, and her Navy patrolled our coastline and Chinese fighter jets streaked across our sky. In short, this is all hard to admit, but our actions do have consequences.

Fast forward again to the present day, I am out of active duty, and in the Army Reserves. (I wanted to stay active duty, but my wife said I would be single, so we had a compromise.)To be honest the reserves has bored me to tears and I haven’t felt like I’m giving anything back to my country, so I looked into getting attached to a National Guard unit on our border with Mexico for a tour or two. However, when I learned they don’t have the authority to apprehend illegal border crossers and can only call up our overworked and overstretched border patrol when they spot illegal activity, I got myself in trouble again by thinking - about what I had done in Kosovo and about what I knew our military had done to our own people in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina ( disarmed law abiding civilians only trying to protect themselves when the police had failed to do so) . To add insult to injury, our Guardsmen and women on our own border don’t have ammunition and have on several documented occasions actually had to retreat when facing fire from Mexican paramilitary groups. Now why would I want to sign up for that? To be witness to the violation of America’s sovereignty? No one in the Executive branch of our government is doing anything about it, and it makes me wonder why I am even in the Army at all.

Why are we the worlds policeman when our own country is being openly violated? Why are we borrowing money hand over fist from nations not exactly our friends, just to spend it on our out of control foreign policy? I am starting to feel like the powers that be do not have America’s interests in mind at all. It’s starting to feel like our ruin is their objective. From our factories closing and moving overseas, to the plunging value of our dollar, America is crumbling. Yet I love her far to much to watch her fall apart.
This is why I am taking my personal revolution and joining forces with Dr. Ron Paul’s revolution. His “bring all the troops home” non-intervention foreign policy and plans to put America first again are just what we need at this time in our history. I don’t expect you to agree with everything he says, but I do hope we can all put our differences aside and join him in seeing that ALL the troops come home, the Republic is restored and America saved. The chants from the background start off faint. You can barely make out the words they are saying. "ron paul. ron paul. ron paul." They get louder and louder as the days and weeks roll on. "Ron Paul. Ron Paul!"

Records are broken, the media is no longer able to ignore this dark horse and the chants that could barely be heard are now drowning out the arena... "RON PAUL. RON PAUL. RON PAUL."

As most of you know on November 5th, 2007 the Ron Paul campaign set a record for the most money collected in donations in a 24 hour period by raising roughly $4.3 million.

Now what gets me about this story is, people still won't consider Ron Paul a front runner or top tier candidate for the republican president nomination.

Well maybe his one day fundraising gimmick was a fluke. Maybe he is just a lot of hot air. Or is he? Other top tier candidates on both Republican and Democratic sides have tried to mirror Ron Pauls success.

Barack Obama had a one day fundraising attempt to mirror this amazing feat Ron Paul has accomplished. Baracks Friday Nov. 16th wasn't much of a success for the Senator Obama. There in fact wasn't much sound coming from the donation trail that day for the Senator from Illi(noise).

A Total of $4,650 were raised by 72 people. Falling short of his goal set for his fundraisers by $995,350. And falling short from Ron Paul's record by a massive $4,295,350 for all of you out there who are too lazy to go grab that calculator.

Another attempt at a similiar day with "Fred's Giving Day" gave Senator Thompson a whopping 82 pledges for $100 each. But in all honesty, any money to any campaign is better then zero dollars. They're just falling short of the drowning voice Ron Paul supporters have.

There's another "Money Bomb" being attempted that is set for the Mitt Romney campaign and is to be held on December 7th, 2007, the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. "Dec 7th For Mitt" has a not so ambitious goal of 100 people to pledge only $30 each. They are excited about their success of beating their goal by reaching 191 pledges. This will give them a staggering number of $5,730.

Ron Paul has another "Money Bomb" that appears to be bigger then the first that broke records on November 5th. This one is to commemorate the Boston Tea Party whose anniversary is coming on this up coming December 16th. Ron Pauls Teaparty.

All this really does is show you that Ron Paul is not out of the race by any means. That his competitors are starting to copy Ron Paul verbatim, not only by donations but by their speeches.

The Mainstream Media would like to tell you that there are only a few people that are making all this noise. They are the ones that are making the polls on the internet tip in their favor. They are the ones making it seem like Ron Paul has a chance.

Another bit of info... Most of the national polls are not accurate either. They are conducted from people who were likely Republican voters in the last election. I can tell you now that the majority of Ron Paul supporters come from apathetic voters who never had the passion to care so much for a candidate for President. And there have been a lot of democrats coming to the republican side to vote for Ron Paul. So don't put all your faith into national polls.

I guess the purpose of this article was not to sling mud or slander anyone other then the mainstream media. My advice to you is, vote with your gut. Don't disregard a candidate because the media tells you he has no shot. Let that persons actions dictate your vote. Let that persons supporters let you know that you're not alone.

On Sunday, the Venezuelan people voted against giving Hugo Chavez his dictatorship.... narrowly. 51% to 49% ensured that Chavez would not be allowed to run again in 2012.

I have to say that i'm slightly (on the smallest level possible) impressed on how Chavez is handling this defeat. Though being impressed with a ruthless guy like this makes me ill to my stomach. I wonder if he can stay humbled for another 4 years and leave office. If I know this guy, he has a trick or two up his sleeve.

Ron Paul grassroot initiatives

You know I really have to say, as a former apathetic voter. I'm insanely impressed with the initiatives this grassroots are taking to get Ron Paul elected. Here are a few examples that I've discovered just today alone. They're phenomenal.

The first one I came across was an awesome idea and full credit goes to her.

What would you like for Xmas? Toys? Food? Clothes? Shoes? How about Freedom? That's the best gift that I could think of that I'd want for christmas. Instead of buying me these materialistic things, can you please go to http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ and donate whatever money it was you were going to spend on his official campaign site. Print out the confirmation page and wrap it up and give it to me for christmas! I'd love freedom for this holiday!

Another idea that's going to be a huge undertaking but could be a great benefit to the Ron Paul Campaign:

http://www.ronpaulapalooza.com/ is going to be a two(2)day concert with any band willing to play music to benefit the Ron Paul campaign. It's a woodstock like event and would be a huge boost towards donations for Dr. Ron Paul!

Another one I stumbled upon was a friendly competition between Ron Paul supporters at http://www.ronpaulpyramid.com/. It's exactly how it sounds, it's a pyramid scheme but without the money involved.

This is how it works, You get one undecided voter to commit to voting for Dr. Paul and he becomes apart of your network. Then he gets one, and he gets one and so on, so on and on and on. Although I really feel they should have a prize for the winner, like a meeting with Dr. Ron Paul himself.

Now I dont think any of these ideas came from the Ron Paul campaign, so that kind of prize would be kinda difficult to obtain, but it would be so worth it!

And the last one I saw today, this last idea was great. I believe someone has purchased around 700,000 Iowa voters addresses who are undecided. These guys want to get the Ron Paul meetup groups to write 100 letters each to reach that 700,000 goal. But here's the spin:

They are not printed out letters, just mailed to whoever. They are hand written letters, where you can leave your email and discuss the campaign with these people with. Or you can just hand write it and leave it at that!

I have personally signed up to do 120 letters and I plan on getting it done in a weeks time.

This Senate bill is entitled S. 1959: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. This Senate bill is in the first step of legislation, having been passed to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs for review.

YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR SENATORS NOW and TELL THEM to KILL BOTH OF THESE BILLS in the Senate. You should tell your senators, in no uncertain terms, that THEY WILL LOSE THEIR JOBS if they support these bills.

Full of Hot Air

The Story.

Hugo Chavez of Venezuela has made some pretty idle threats towards the United States recently. But what else is new? This guy is full of hot air.

Venezuela is about to hold a vote that will get rid of the amount of times Hugo Chavez can run for president. Giving him the opportunity to be president of Venezuela indefinitely. He's threatened actions against not only his own people but other countries if they oppose this vote. Not just taking actions against the vote but thinking bad about it. What a crack pot.

Oil makes up 90% of Venezuela economy and the United States is it's biggest customer. And the U.S. is one of the few countries in the world that can refine his low-quality crude oil. You should never bite the hand that feeds you. He really can't sell the oil anywhere else. His new buddy in Iran can't buy it for him, they definitely don't need the oil. What a D-bag.

So on that note. In case you are not aware, Venezuela's fuel is supplied at Citgo gas stations all over the U.S. I haven't bought gas from this company in a very long time and I suggest you don't either. (Although it angers me that it's usually 1-2 cents cheaper than chevron) =\

A Tidal Wave of Immigrants drowns the U.S.

This is a major problem and it's only going to get worse. There are reasons why we have laws to control this kind of stuff. And the U.S. has been so much of a pushover on so many issues, it's killing our economy. We're a push over of late in our foreign policies and military conflicts and we're a push over on our liberal minded government spending, and we're a push over on our security to our borders.

This needs to be fixed now and we need a president that will fix this problem as soon as he's elected. I'm about to vigilanty my happy ass to the border (Nuevo Laredo isn't far from me) and deter some illegals from stealing my money and my jobs.

I fear that our national language will change from: English to something more scary: Spanish parts of the country English.

It's time to take a stand and fix this before it gets out of control. Let's bring a large number of our troops home and patrol the borders.

The Story.

A teacher in the U.K. allowed her students to refer to a Teddy Bear as Mohammed, the prophet for the muslim faith. Ms. Gibbons was even arrested and sentenced to 15 days in prison for this.

Now protestors in Sudan are wielding knives and calling for the death of Ms. Gibbons for her insult to their prophet.

When are people going to learn that this is not a religion of peace. Maybe I should kill View Askew Pictures owner, Kevin Smith, the creators of 'Dogma' for making a Buddy Christ, mocking my savior! Or maybe I'll just go have a moonpie and chill the hell out.

Hostage Situation

Now that title isn't a cleaver line for some spin off on some opinion I've formulated. There's an actual hostage situation going on as we speak.

Apparently there is a hostage situation going on in the headquarters for the Hillary Clinton campaign.

A 40 year old or so man, with salt and pepper har, barged into the HQ where about 5 people were. He immediately released a woman with a baby and is holding at lesat 3 people hostage. The mother and the baby went to a pharmacy next door and called 911.

The Story.

I really don't know what this man is accomplishing. I can appreciate patriotism, but not in this manner. Try different tactics to obtain your political goal or express your voice. No need to put anyone in harms way. My heart goes out to the families being held hostage and god bless to them all.

Also, the Barack Obama and John Edwards camps in NH have been vacated in fear of more situations like this.

Now i'm not really one to stick to a single topic or sling mud. I'm against negative campaigns and that's why I feel Hillary Clinton is slipping in national polls a bit. I also feel that's why Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani are slipping a bit in national polls because if they're immature arguing and name calling. The American people want adults to run this country.

So on that note, i'd like to apologize but since Rudy Giuliani is a front runner, and I do not support him, I have to stick with information being provided. Whether it's true or not, I'll let you decide.

Apparently Rudy Giuliani used New York funds for his cheating on his second wife to go spend time in the Hamptons with his future wife, and now third wife, Judith Nathan. Spending tax payer money to cheat seems kinda... I don't know... what's the word i'm looking for? Dirty...

We're all quite familiar with this video. (well i'm sure the majority of us interneters are)

But is there more to Rudy Giuliani then meets the eye? I can definitely understand a one time thing like this video clip here. But is this a common trend for the former mayor of New York City? I can't be the only one who finds this disturbing. In fact, when I opened the video really quick to grab the embed code, my 2 year old walked into the room and yelled, "EWWW!"

There have been a couple of questions raised when it comes to Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. I was shocked to read that they did not like this man.

Now although this is a lengthy post of quotes. The reason why I felt the need to post each one that I found was that I feel that each man and woman deserves the right to have their voice heard by everyone.

A comment back in April of Rudy Giuliani stating that he knows war and terrorism better then anyone else running for president, is starting to get me thinking. After some research, what a rude and inappropriate comment towards John McCain. We all know about John McCains heroism during vietnam. Where was Rudy during vietnam?

According to Jon Soltz, an Iraq vet, America's Mayor is a draft dodger. Apparently Rudy Giuliani received numerous draft deferments while a student in school. Which I give him props for and more power to him. We need more educated people in this world. But when he got out of school and became a law clerk his application for a deferment was rejected and Rudy asked a federal judge who he was clerking for to petition on his behalf to the Draft Board. The judge did so and the request was granted.

Now most recently, i've heard complaints about the Ron Paul campaign for accepting donations from a neo-nazi group leader, Stormfront, named Don Black in the amount of $500. A lot argue to say that Ron Paul for accepting this donation makes him a neo nazi, a man who hates blacks and other racists different from his own.

Another donation received by the Ron Paul campaign from Nevada's Bunny Ranch owner, Dennis Hof. After Mr. Hof listened to Ron Paul for 20 minutes, his first time listening to him, he was hooked and had to do everything he could to get Ron Paul elected. So he donated to the campaign and said he'd take a collection at the ranch to donate more funds.

Now i'm pretty sure that Ron Paul wasn't pro-prostitution in his speech. Although some would argue he'd made comments about being pro-prositution. In fact Dr. Paul has made a few comments that he opposes the regulation of prostitution onthe federal level. He believes that the states should decide what's legal and illegal in regards to this "profession". That's how a true constitutionalist responds.

Those men have nothing to do with Ron Pauls campaign. They are not apart of it in any way, but lets look at a member of Rudy's campaign. Rudy's South Carolina campaign chairman, Thomas Ravenel, has been indicted on cocaine charges from a federal court. Here's a man who was chosen to lead in his campaign.

Now flip the coin from the Rudy supporters who think Ron Paul is a bad man for these donations. According to recent releases on OpenSecrets.org Rudy has by far received more donations for his campaign by Casinos and gambling institutions.

Just like Ron Paul, he received donations from something that is illegal in most states. But the Moonlite BunnyRanch is a legal business in the State of Nevada. Just like these businesses are for the Rudy campaign. So I guess my point is, who decides which donation is right and which donation is wrong. None of these donators are breaking any laws. None of their lifestyles make them less American. They have every right to donate and vote for who they choose. That's what's great about our country, the diversity.

Although I don't agree with the casino industry, or the prostitution business, or the neo nazi movement. I really doubt that Rudy Giuliani is a compulsive gambler, crack headed, criminal. Just like Ron Paul isn't a racist neo nazi who pimps on the weekends. In fact, Ron Paul has been married to the same woman for over 50 years and still calls her 3 times a day while he's on the road. Can't say that much for Rudy, hell he even married his second cousin.

...There's something about Rudy.

A guy took out an ad the other day with the USA Today paper. He paid for the entire thing by himself and put a lot of effort, with others help, in the design and messge. It cost him around $80,000 to do this. And I really don't care who you are or what presidential candidate has this sort of ad in the paper or on tv, or how long of a shot or how certain they are to win. (rambling off)

Dirty Politics

The Story.

With Hillary Clinton slipping in the polls, things are getting nasty between her and Obama. Apparently she doesn't realize that the reason why shes' slipping is because of her dirty politics. Well that and she's a flip flopper that will kill this country worse then Bush. The Clinton campaign says it's because of a vast difference in ideas and they think the public should be aware about it. But save that kind of stuff for the debates.

Hillary Clinton:
"I think that I bring unique experience -- 35 years of experience, including the eight years in the White House where I was actively involved in issues both here at home and around the world."

I've been saying it for years! She was the witch that ran the white house. It reminds me of an old joke I was told once:

Bill, Al, and Hillary all die in a plane crash. Upon reaching Heaven, they are escorted as important personages directly to see God. God looks at Bill and asks, "Bill, you've sinned a great deal. Why should I allow you to enter into Heaven?"

There are so many U's to describe this game. Unbelievable Underdog Upsets.

The University of Arkansas, Home of the Razorbacks, who are unranked defeat #1 LSU on Friday in triple overtime. This is the second loss for the LSU Tigers, both of which came in triple overtime.

Arkansas made a tough decision to go for a 2 point conversion in the third overtime to place the Razorbacks 8 points ahead of the Tigers. The Tigers responded with a touchdown but failed to convert the 2 points necessary to tie the game.

Update on San Fran-sicko

On a 10-1 vote the board of supervisors in San Francisco has passed the measure to give identification cards to illegals.

This is a huge mistake and lets hope the trend does not catch on. For more news on the board of supervisors, read one of my older blogs here.

The Story.

UPDATE:

A lot of people are not fully aware of what an ID card is used for. It's not a drivers license at all but it can be used for many things. Here is a small list of things it can be used for according to http://www.dmv.org/id-cards.php

DMV:

"Having some form of photo ID is critical in our world today; you need to be
able to prove you are who you say you are in many situations. You'll need a
picture ID to board an airplane, get a job, set up bank accounts, and in order
to make certain purchases."

Having a bank account can get them home loans and studen loans and car loans. You pretty much are giving them every right to be an American, when they entered this country illegally. There are hundres to thousands of people waiting daily to enter this country by legal means.

More than 43% of all Food Stamps are given to illegals.
95% of warrants issued for murder in Los Angeles are for illegals.
Less than 2% of illegals are picking crops, but 41% of them are on welfare.

I'm by no means racist or a hate monger. But I do believe that we need to have people migrate to this country to work. But those people need to be here legally. We need upstanding citizens who contribute, not just take.

A common arguement from illegals to Americans if we deport them, is that our economy would collapse. I'd beg to differ. We'd have a lot more of our tax payer money available and reasons to lower our taxes.

I'm also against amnesty. But I would love to see these people back here in this country working. But I'd like to see them do it legally, learn our language, and pay taxes like the rest of us.

There are about 7.2 million undocumented workers in the U.S., or about 5 percent of the country's work force. Imagine how much burden that would relieve from us Americans who abide by the law. There's no reason why we should live and die for our freedom, and they reap the benefits from it.

San Fran-sicko

You see what I did there? I took a liberal Michael Moore term and turned it around on a liberal city. PWNT!

I know that San Francisco likes to be the first in political movements in this country. They want to send a message to the rest of the country that things are changing and they need to conform. But I have a feeling they're going to be alone on this one. Drivers Licenses to anyone in the city? Including illegals? wow...

In 2004, voters overwhelmingly approved Proposition H, which demanded the
withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Iraq. The next year, voters said yes to
Proposition I, which opposed military recruitment in public school.

A year ago, they voted to impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney. As the San Francisco Chronicle noted in a recent editorial, "it's hardly worth getting outraged when San Francisco supervisors load the ballot with measures of more symbolism than substance. It's what they do."

The Story.

Once again the famous line, in my humble opinion, giving drivers licenses to illegals is a huge mistake. You're giving them too much with ease which they didn't earn. Now I can definitely appreciate all the hard work Illegals do in this country. But the money doesn't stay in our country. It gets sent home from where they came. Again I can appreciate that but I'd much rather have my money go to my country and benefit my people. It's hard enough as it is.

I see the point of view of having everyone licensed to make the road safer, but giving illegals drivers licenses will overwhelm the city with more illegals, more taxes due to illegals needing medical treatment, housing, etc.

I really don't find it fair that I have to pay outrageous taxes so they can have an easy life. We fought for what we have in this country and they could do the same thing in theirs. We faced persecution and tyranny. We stood up to it and built our country to what it is now. They shouldn't be given the easy path to the apple tree so the serpent can nip at me.

Giving illegals drivers licenses would give them the opportunity to attend colleges, apply for financial aid. Getting financial aid could steal those funds from an American who deserves it - further hurting our education system. Vote for who they think would be best for our country, although they cannot speak english and refuse to learn.

I really don't know how this litte fact has eluded me. I wasn't aware of it until my father informed me yesterday over the telephone.

I can definitely understand the reasoning behind banning weapons by citizens in Washington D.C. Who would want armed civilians in the same location as ALL of our elected officials.

What an Irony though to be the center of freedom and deny those the very freedom we've fought so hard for for hundreds of years. It's like your parents telling you, "Now do as I say! and not as I do!"

I think that this will become a very hot topic for the presidential debates very soon. In my humble opinion, i'm all for the right to bear arms in Washington. The crime rate is out of control in the area and who knows, it may decline sharply after a law is passed to allow citizens to carry firearms. (Many would argue that legal guns increase crime rate, I beg to differ)

Not the Same old Sesame Street

The Story.

Apparently times have changed and from the first shows of Sesame Street to the new shows the things that were appropriate and okay for kids to watch then are not now.

I haven't been around since the 60's but it looks like Sesame Street has gone through a lot of changes over the years with a lot of concentration and concern for the childhood psyche. You never really know how little things, from popular areas, can develop a childs mind and define who they may be as a person. This is why I don't like the MTV trends. But I'm also against denying peoples freedom to express themselves. This just means we need to work harder to educate our children properly.

Although I'm a huge fan of the cookie monster! They tend to believe that the original cookie monster, who was created by Jim Hensen for use in commercials by General Foods, was on a fast track to diabetes and developed the first childhood "addict". You can't deny his trademark cookie eating sounds! "Om nom nom nom. COOKIES!"

So the earliest episodes of Seasame street are now on DVD and are being told they are for adults only. What amazing changes - and disturbing - this country and world have gone through in 40 years. Where's the innocence?

It looks like Dave Chappelle had it right a few years back in San Francisco during a stand up bit called "Killing them Softly" when he gave his opinion on Sesame Street. I stumbled upon this blog page that is set up to send e-mails to 6,000 U.S. Marines. One e-mail for each Marine in this commanders unit.

As a former Marine I cannot begin to tell you how much your mind can deteriorate with all the stress and violence you are subjected to. For each moment of stress or violence that you witness, it can reduce your mental toughness by 1%.

A letter, whether it's e-mail or written, from a supporter at home can increase your mental toughness by 10%!

If it was my time in bootcamp or being on the ocean in a ship for 6 months or being in Afghanistan or Iraq, I cannot begin to tell you the most important part of all Marines day was mail call. You'd almost be sad if you didn't receive a letter and you would share what you got in your packages with your fellow Marines and recruits.

So please take the 30 seconds it would take to send a simple e-mail or a detailed e-mail to a Marine who could use the morale boost. Thank you all in advance and Semper Fi!

Apparently Ron Paul has broken free from his internet chains and pundit repression. In a recent telephone poll Ron Paul had a commanding victory over the other presidential candidates with a 32.8% vote.

Over 70% of respondents reported that they do not use YouTube, Facebook or MySpace, suggesting that this is not the ‘Internet-sensation’ crowd so often reported as Paul’s base of support. The demographics show strong and balanced support in both rural and urban areas and in all age groups.

Some Changes may be brewing (no pun intended for the Dec 16th Money Bomb) for the republican party.

Ok. so thankfully I was told in advance.

To those who read my previous post on our new puppy! We found out that Muttley the boy is in fact a girl!

Apparently i'm not professional at inspecting doggie parts. We get the puppy in a week from today and my entire family is excited, especially my daughter.

So we had to change the puppies name from Muttley to Izzie(short for Isabelle). And we rushed to PETsMART (I love the play on words) and bought a bunch of girlie puppy stuff. This is our first animal as a family and we're all pretty excited. I'll keep you guys updated as much as possible on this adorable dogs life. =D

The Story.

On Thursday 3 boys ranging from the ages of 8 and 9 years old raped an 11 year old girl in Georgia. One of the boys father has said, in defense of his son, that the sex was consensual and there was no force involved and that the girl didn't want her parents angry with her. So she called this incident a rape.

The police officer states that an 11 year old cannot give consensual sex.

You know either way the story turns out. If the sex was consensual, whether that's legal or not, or if the little girl was raped by little boys. This would be a perfect example as to why i'm Pro-choice. Despite my spiritual beliefs and political affiliations. I know that people make big mistakes. There are so many urges that people refuse to deny for whatever reason and they wind up getting pregnant.

Some of these people are not ready to have children. They cannot mentally, emotionally, physically and monetarily care for a child. It's not fair for the child to be denied all the things a growing kid needs.

So if a woman wants to have an abortion to correct her mistake then she should be allowed to. These kids are definitely not being monitored properly or being eductated the correct way. There is no way in the world my two kids would know about any of this stuff at these ages.

It's shocking enough that kids from the age of 8 to 11 would have the amount of knowledge about sex as they do. But to physically take, or not take... i'm waiting for the outcome... sex from an 11 year old.

I'm a big history buff. I learn from the mistakes of others and try not to repeat history. I'd hate to use these kids as an example to educate my kids in the proper way but my god. Whatever happened to boys getting all their friends together, digging around the garage for an old baseball and bat and running over to the local run down baseball field to play ball with their friends. Or even for these new kids, mowing as many lawns as they could so they could get the latest video game and go over to their friends house to play. Since when did being a kid become so serious? Something needs to be changed.

This sory makes me sad and I hope to never read anything about it in the future - although common sense tells me that I most likely will.

Idle threats or cause for concern?

If you've read somewhat of my posts. You see that I like to make some predictions. Sometimes they come true and sometimes they don't. Well, I'm not one to say I told you so, or rub noses in it. But this is a disturbing comment.

In my Recent article on Hugo Chavez, the presidential dictator of Venezuela and the Iranian President Mahmoud Amadinejad, or the Hitler of the Middle East, I made a prediction. My prediction was simple. Oil prices will raise to $200 a barrel by the end of 2008, pending a new war with Iran.

At an OPEC meeting, Venezuelan President made the exact same comments and predictions. Are his threats idle or are they a real cause for concern?

Hugo Chavez:

"If the United States attempts the madness of invading Iran or attacking
Venezuela again, the price of oil is probably going to reach $200, not just
$100."

My Prediction:

Well here you go, here's another prediction I've been telling my wife for a few months now. Oil will reach $200 a barrel by the end of 2008 and gas will cost up to $6 a gallon. The United States will be in a fight with Iran, defending Israel on a preemptive strike on Iran before they were able to release a nuke. This will cause oil prices to go up.

Here are some articles that support the prediction:

Hugo Chavez warning the United States if they attack Iran or Venezuela again, that oil would raise to $200 a barrel.

The United States and Israel are drafting up plans to deal with Iran that has acquired a nuclear weapon.

And this would be where I would link articles about Cheney vowing to go to war with Iran before the end of 2008. But I'm sure you could google it and pull up about a hundred or so articles on the topic.

Hopefully these are just idle threats. I'm getting pretty poor at the gas pumps.

I can't say that I support the man above others. He's definitely a good candidate. He's godly compared to Former Mayor of NYC, you know the guy who was there, at that time, and held a leadership role. Yea him, Rudy Giuliani. He's also way better then Hillary Clinton.

It's really nice to see a candidate use humor to pitch his candidacy. Too bad these jokes are old and over used. But still funny nonetheless.

My plan to secure the border? Two words... Chuck Norris. lol

It's also nice to see another candidate see what kind of crock the IRS is. Hopefully that's something that'll catch on.

20/20 no more

A few years ago I had perfect vision. The last time I was tested was in the Marine Corps when I was interested in the Scout Sniper program. Definitely need perfect vision for that sort of job.

Now, I've slowly noticed that my vision has gone to crap. I've been arguing with myself and anyone else who said I can't see. "I SEE JUST FINE!" But after today I realized that my vision really is bad.

I was driving in the car with my wife and there were two high school kids walking down the street towards us. The one on the right was a girl and the one on the left was a girl.

The closer and closer we get I realized that the one on the left was not a girl but an emo-attired guy. (rubs eyes)

I don't understand some fads. But this wasn't a fictional story for an attempt at humor. It really did happen.

I miss the days of clean cut people. Call me old fashioned. (waits)

Ok, now that you have that out of your system.

... Call me old fashioned, but I really feel that people need to clean themselves up. Some exceptions do apply. For guys of course. Unshaven girls.... ick.

The Story.

I should file this under something that I should have saw coming but for some reason didn't. Especially after the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, visited New York last month and stopped off in Latin America afterwards.

You know the conversation had to go like this:

Ahmadinejad:

Can you believe they applauded me? Haha.

Chavez:

They pretty much buy every word that you're saying.

Ahmadinejad:

You should start a nuclear program too. Say it's for peace like I'm doing and
this way we'll sneak up on the Americans when they least expect it and nuke
their entire country.

Chavez:

You know, that's a brilliant idea. And with yours and Russias help we should be able to obtain this technology with little effort.

Chavez & Ahmadinejad:

HAHAHAHA

It's actually pretty scary. There have always been enemies of the United States. But there has always been little threat to our soil. Regardless of what we do with our foreign policy and ideals. Right or wrong we have enemies that envy, hate, loathe, despise us. And for them to go nuclear, is beyond scary.

Prepare for sanctions and actual battles with Venezuela like you see with Iran. It's a non stop struggle.

Also since this blog is new, I tend to try to predict things. One that you have missed that I told my wife a couple years ago. Oil will reach $100 a barrel by the end of 2007.

Now my wife says that he really is an attractive man, since I don't swing that way I'll take her word for it. But is this my competition? Ladies watch out, A Furious Mind is on the loose, rawr.

I still can't get over his part in Team America: World Police (Love that movie!). I've probably over used that "Matt Damon" line way too much since the movie was released but it was great. The Senator Hillary Clinton camp today called Mitt Romney a flip-flopper on the issues.

I know, I know. The words are a bit vulgar but come on, how accurate is that? Well, I don't see a Mormon using those kind of words, but still. I'm sure he's so dumbfounded that he's drinking a coke right now.

Honestly though, she's flipped so many times that I've become cross-eyed and now walk in circles. (Sorry if anyone of you have family members who do this =\ )

Alright first lets get the Obvious and the Humor out of the way shall we?

Barry Bonds as a rookie. HA-HA! I know it's completely wrong for me to laugh at that picture but I can't help but pop a stitch or two on it.

Now lets point out the obvious. Here's a picture of Barry as a Rookie with the Pittsburgh Pirates and here's a recent picture of him as a San Francisco Giant. The difference is HUGE, and his transformation from one body build to the other was so accelerated that it had to be done with enhancers.

I grew up around baseball, I was nearly drafted 1st round with the Orioles until I blew out my shoulder. I know the difference between users and non-users. This guy is definitely a user and I've been saying it since he made his change. Hell, I still remember the phone conversation my father and I had when we first noticed it.

Now he's wearing long clothes but you can really tell the difference in the legs, the shoulders and under his forearm guard. They are MONSTROUS!

Now let's show a little more humor for the sh*ts and giggles.

Looks like a Richard Nixon to me. "I'm not a steroid user" (shakes head to make cheeks jiggle)

Alright and on with the story.

The reason why this case is receiving so much humor, anger and attention is due to the fact that this guy has to be one of the most arrogant and belligerent people in the public eye of sports.

The lies are small. Really small but the main lie is HUGE.

"No."

Anything like that at all?

Bonds:

"No, I wasn't at all."

If this guy would have just sacked up, listened to the court and not perjured himself, he would have stayed jail free. Now he's going to most likely be buddying up with O.J. Simpson in prison instead of just being a baseball outcast like Pete Rose. (I love you Pete! You've been wronged!)

Lesson learned kiddies. Don't be like Britney Spears and Barry Bonds. Oh and Lindsey Lohan, definitely avoid being like her... and Chris Crocker. Okay that's all I promise! Mel Gibson.

Remember when I said that my blogs will sometimes contain speculation? Well here you go, your dose of spec- with a dash of -ulation. Enjoy it.

You ever play the game of chess? Or know the history of chess? Chess was a tool created by the Indians (from India - people) for warfare strategy, mathematical calculations, gambling and even its vague assocation with astronomy.

So how can we associate this with todays world? Who is todays real threat to our way of life? (Yes there is one, despite what you may think) Here's how I think things are playing out.

Late 1990's and Early 2000's your government learns about a potential threat to hijack American planes and crash them into buildings. Heck, numerous intelligence agencies claimed to have warned our government of the pending attacks. Whether it's true or not is up to you to decide.

So what are the negatives to this action if these terrorists succeed? You lose anywhere between 1,000 to 5,000 innocent American Lives.

What are the positives if this action takes place? (In Government terms) You give the American people the fuel to light the fire. An attack on American soil gives you full power to take care of whatever it is you need to take care of. Sound familiar? Pearl Harbor. Yea, I'm one of those that believe Pearl Harbor was known by our government well in advance and left outof the loop for a reason. Why? Because no one in the U.S., including our politicians, wanted to go into the world war in Europe?

Do I think it was right? Yes, and let me tell you why. If these sorts of things did not happen then we'd all have funny short mustaches (girls too! ha-ha) and our national language would be German.

The fact of the matter was the Germans were kicking the sh*t out of Europe and they were taking England and placing them over their knee and spanking them unrelentlessly. The Brits were being destroyed in every fashion of warfare. Even to the point that our American pilots would volunteer to go over to England to fly for the RAF (Royal Air Force).

So what's the next step after Hitler obliterates Europe and eliminates all the Jews? You think he would stop there and be content? NO! He would have continued over to America, with undefeatable forces to invade with.

So FDR had a very difficult decision to make. His entire country was against war, his government was against war but he knew in his heart that we had to enter this war or be annihilated ourselves. FDR gets word of an attack on US soil and he decides to let the Japanese attack, kill 3,000 American sailors and Marines, and enters our country into WWII.

Now fast forward to today. Our country faces multiple threats and on a nuclear scale. We allow 9/11 to happen which launches us into a Global War on Terrorism with the American peoples full support.Look into Rebuilding America's Defenses.

So in terms of chess, the enemies of America are the white pieces and America are the black pieces. The white strikes first and flies planes into our buildings which killed over 3,000 innocent civilians.

We trace the culprit, Osama bin laden, to Afghanistan. Hrm, what a convenient location. Afghanistan borders Iran to the east.

After you take care of the local government, which albeit was a very bad and controlling one, you set up bases in the country and control the skies. Then you make your next move.

Our pawn takes a two square leap this time and moves into Iraq. You make up some stories which at the time may be true if you know anything about the past. Did Saddam have WMD's in the past? yes (although no nuclear, WMD's include biological and chemical - he used them and was hanged because of it). So this is an easy story to sell.

Now look at that, we're working towards stablizing Iraq, we have numerous bases within the country and we have conveniently placed ourselves to the west and east of our main threat. Iran. We're even a buffer for Israel by placing ourselves in the middle of Iran and Israel. Kind of like a big brother would do if he saw his little brother being picked on. Now that's one hell of a chess move if you ask me. Where is your enemies King going to go?

Of course this is all speculation and one man's opinion on how things are going down. You don't have to buy it at all or you can take it into your arsenal in anti-war blogging. It just seems to be very interesting to me on how things are playing out.

Iran is definitely a threat. A threat to the middle east, a threat to our allies, a threat to our country. They have help as well, and as things are also playing out, our old cold war villains are assisting them. I won't link you any articles on those items, you can google it and find tons of articles to support it. Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map, they're building towards a "peaceful nuclear program", they support terrorism (hizbollah).

So if you look at things this way, Do I agree with invading Afghanistan? yes. Do I agree with invading Iraq? no, but look at the positioning of our pawn. Do I agree with preemptive war? yes and no, if things play out the way I think they are then yes, anything to protect my kids. I'm not a big fan of Islam and speaking farsi.

Vet suicides on the rise

Vet suicides are on the rise a CBS study shows. As a former Marine I know of the stresses that our military has to go through. And when I returned home from my deployment I was definitely changed for the rest of my life.

Paul Rieckhoff, a former Marine and founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans for America:

"Not everyone comes home from the war wounded, but the bottom line is nobody comes home unchanged"

Now my problems are probably no where near as bad as these Vets but it's been no picnic either. And i'm sure my wife can definitely agree to that. My problems range from mild to severe Panic and Anxiety attacks. Something that has changed
me forever.

For the first year or two I had issues staying awake, I'd stay awake for four hours then fall asleep for another four, this went on for about two weeks straight.

I also felt like I was dying in one form or another every day. All my senses seemed to be turned on to max. So if I was ill, it felt like I had the plague. If I had a heart flutter, it felt like I was about to have a heart attack. The list goes on.

I have been given medication for this problem and I have gotten better since
the first times coming home. But I don't always use the medication. I don't want
to be dependant on a drug. That's not how I'm supposed to be.

God bless our troops and I hope all of them manage to cope with the struggles
we have to put up with. I love every single one of you.

The next day she gives me back my wallet and it's completely empty! Lesson learned, don't give your wife your wallet when it has cards and cash in it.

Ron Paul Supporters...terrorists?

V for Ron Paul?

Apparently Glenn Beck feels that the recent record setting donation drive for Dr. Ron Paul, which took place on the 5th of November, makes all Ron Paul supporters terrorists.

Since Ron Paul has started his campaign the media has had nothing really bad to about RP.

A little info on this 5th of November "money bomb" which broke records: There was a movie out not too long ago called 'V for Vendetta' starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving.

The Plot: Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as "V." Guy Fawkes who was a terrorist for trying to blow up British parliment to kill James I and reshape Englands government. He attempted this terrorist act on the 5th of november. The character "V" used this persona to carry out his reshaping of the hitler type government that was choking society with their "Finger men" (Secret Police) kidnapping anyone who may be against their way and disposing of a countries culture. In the movie V made his decision to blow up Parliment on the 5th of November as a symbol to his people to wake up and make their government afraid of them, not the other way around. In short - Great movie and I recommend to you, check it out if you haven't already.

Fast forward to Gleen Beck - his guests on the show - and Ron Paul. Apparently Glenn Beck got the opportunity he was looking for. Telling people that Ron Paul set up this "Money Bomb" which he did not. Saying that Ron Paul is exactly like Guy Fawkes which he is not. He left out some key points in his ramblings about Ron Paul, this donation drive and the movie V for Vendetta. He actually didn't really mention the movie at all and just connected the dots directly to Guy Fawkes and bypassed the movie. God, I wonder what connection Glenn Beck is going to make for the Veterans Day "Money Bomb".

It's also fact that the U.S. Military Personnel have donated more money to Ron Paul then to any politician running for president. So is Glenn Beck calling our boys and girls in uniform terrorists as well? I think he should rethink his point on this topic and stop with the propaganda.

Watch the movie Glenn Beck. Actually talk to RP supporters and see that it had nothing to do with domestic terrorism but change for America. RP Supporters used a popular movie with similiar circumstances as a premise to help their cause. Don't be afraid of a movement like this - respect it and be impressed as most of us are.

A New Puppy

WOOOOT! Finally!

Well, it's been a couple years coming now. The wife has been taking me to a pet store every week (sometimes two times a week) since we met. She's obsessed with having a puppy.

Well I was grabbing something for my daughter out of my room when I heard some whimpering coming from my window. (The walls are so thin around here that I can hear peoples conversations down the hall!) So I look out the window and my neighbors were outside with a litter of puppies.

So I had two choices here. I could be extremely kind and surprise my daughter and wife by taking them outside to see the puppies... OR I could turn up the T.V. really loud so they couldn't hear the same whimper.

I grab my kiddo and threw shoes on her feet and I asked my wife if she wanted to come outside with me. She gave me a sideways look and came outside. Her face lit up so bright when she saw those 5 furballs crawling about on the grass getting some puppy exersize.

We found our favorite and asked if they planned on selling them. They said that they were giving them away for free. This was the moms third litter and this will be her last also.

So we grabbed a puppy and asked if we could have him. They turned four weeks old as of Vertans Day, Monday, so we have another two weeks to wait until they're fully weened off the mom.

We already gave him a name. He's so incredibly adorable. The Fury Wife came up with Muttley from those Hanana Barbara Cartoons -- you know that dog who snickered deceptively a lot. Roaming around with Dick Dasterdly. The same guy did the voice for Scooby Doo as well. And for some odd reason I completed the puppies name with Muttley Beauregard. Well it was officially Muttley Beauregard III (the third) But the wife wasn't digging that. So that was vetoed. I asked congress to overturn her veto but they were too scared to come up with the necessary 2/3rd vote. Jerks.

So we pick him up in 2 weeks and get to take him to the vet and get him the necessary puppy house stuff. We're all pretty excited. It will be a good birthday gift for my son when he gets home! oh and he's a strange mix muttley too. His dad is half Chow and half Huskey and his mom is Half Chihuahua and half Jack Russel. Muttley definitely takes on the jack russel look.

I know it's been some time since i've last posted and I apologize for that. It's been one hell of a hectic month for my family and I. So we decided to take some time away from things and reorganize life. PHEW! It helped.

So to get back into the swing of things I figured I would write a post about my wife and how much I love her. Oh, and how much she boggles my mind on a daily basis.

So we decided we didn't want to spend one minute in the house yesterday. We've been pretty cooped up for a while and wanted to enjoy the nice weather outside. So we start driving with no agenda which my wife loves to do frequently. So we're driving along and I decided to head towards the freeway and asked my wife where she would like to go. She had no clue and just said I haven't made up my mind yet and she'll let me know.

Since i'm navigating with little help on this adventure I hop on the 410 heading towards downtown and hop onto the I-10 from there heading north. We drive for a little bit and then she chastised my directional ability and this is a direct quote;

WOW! I was dumbfounded for a good 2 minutes. I couldn't say a word at all. So I say in a humorous voice, "GOT WHERE QUICKER?" ha-ha. First I've asked her where she wanted to go and she had no clue, so I drive in random directions and I'm told i'm going the wrong way. Women are the funniest creatures on Earth and at times I love it and at other times it boggles my mind.

I know my wife doesn't read my blog very much. (not into the political thing) So I can admit this freely... I knew where she wanted to go before she said it. We've got that good of a relationship where I think what she's thinking and vice versa. And I know the route I was taking was the longer way. We had an entire day to kill so who cares, hehe. But I wont let her know that. I have to keep my ammo for teasing her at all times. =D

...sigh, women.

Definitely a religion of peace

I get to thinking sometimes, which I probably shouldn't do. I'm a very open minded person but an old saying comes to mind and I have to wonder, "A picture is worth a thousand words". It's one thing to say that Islam is a religion of peace and say that a small minority are the only ones preaching hate and my favorite, "Just because i'm muslim doesn't make me a terrorist"

And I would tend to agree with those comments but going back to the picture being worth a thousand words, i tend to disagree sometimes. It's just a little frustrating. I want to show some pictures and point out some examples:

Well this guy is just plain crazy. You figure one bad person making a bold statement. But you can really see the hate in his eyes beneath that cover. And the main thing that gets me thinking is that there's not a tiny crowd behind him. There's quite a few people back there that look of every age and sex. Qur'an in one hand a grendate in the other. I wonder what Americans would say if a guy in a trucker hat went to a protest with a rifle in one hand and the bible in the other. I wonder what the cops would do. Two different worlds.

Women of their culture praising the acts of one of the most ruthless men in the history of the world. This is very disturbing to see.

Now you figure these guys are protesting hate in their country for those "infidels" in the west. Now I don't know about those other people but i've personally seen just about all the beheading videos and it's probably the most viscious and horrible way to die. I infact wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. Now taking a closer look at this picture and you see that they aren't in a muslim city. I'm no expert but it looks more like England or thereabouts. You can tell by the policemen standing guard for the protest and the clothes the muslim males are wearing. How terrifying is it to see people protest your death by beheading in our own country.

Yes, I agree 100% when people on the news and advocates for Muslim rights say that they only attack us because we occupy their land or stick our noses in their affairs. That's obviously the only thing happening. It has nothing to do with a war that's been raging on for a thousand years. Might as well leave, pull down our pants, grab our ankles and pray to allah.

This has nothing to do with religion just invasion of space. Jihad definitely means "You're crowding our space" Nothing to do with "Holy War". If the Americans and western civilizations are doing one thing over there in the middle east is spreading democracy and not religion. Yet they are calling for a Holy War. hrm..

So if a picture is worth a thousand words, what are these pictures telling us? It's definitely not telling us that it's our fault. Seemed to be planned a long time ago and taught from generation to generation for hundreds of years.

Hello Friends. In this letter is some information that everyone should be aware of. Not everyone is aware of it and I find it upon myself to inform as many as possible. Rudy Giuliani is a crowd favorite for his heroism on September 11, 2001. But what if those people who he was supposed to be heroes to didn't like him?

Rudy Giuliani at the present time is the front runner for the Republican Party for President in 2008. I myself have been ashamed of our current Republican elected officials. But that does not mean I dont see light at the end of the tunnel. There's changes to be made for this country and I believe that those changes are to be made by the Republican Party.

I by no means want to see a Democrat elected, just the right person elected. I want this country to have the best person for President and not the best party. Below is a letter of explanation from the IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) on why they did not extend and invitation to Rudy Giuliani on a presidential forum. Giuliani was the only one not extended an invite and the reasons are below. Thank you Ladies and Gentleman for your time.

Firefighters Union Letter On Rudy Giuliani
March 8, 2007

On March 14, 2007, the IAFF will host the first bi-partisan Presidential Forum of the 2008 election cycle. No other union and very few organizations has the credibility and respect to attract top-tier candidates from both political parties. The lineup of speakers who have agreed to participate in our Forum is truly a testament to our great union and the reputation we have built as a powerful political force and a coveted endorsement.

John Edwards, John McCain, Barack Obama, Chuck Hagel, Hillary Clinton,
Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, Duncan Hunter and seven other candidates will make their case before the 1,000 delegates who will be attending the Forum and to our entire membership via same-day broadcast on our web site.

Early on, the IAFF made a decision to invite all serious candidates from both political parties — except one: former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

We made this decision after considerable soul-searching and close consultation with our two New York City affiliates, the Uniformed Firefighters Association Local 94 and the Uniformed Fire Officers Association Local 854, as well as our former Local 94 President and current IAFF 1st District Vice President covering New York.

The IAFF recognizes that Mayor Giuliani generally enjoys a favorable reputation as a result of his actions immediately after the tragedy of 9/11. As such, we want our affiliates and every one of our members to clearly understand the reason and rationale behind this very serious and sober decision.

Many people consider Rudy Giuliani "America's Mayor," and many of our members who don't yet know the real story, may also have a positive view of him. This letter is intended to make all of our members aware of the egregious acts Mayor Giuliani committed against our members, our fallen on 9/11, and our New York City union officers following that horrific day.

Rest assured, our exclusion of Mayor Giuliani is not about any particular contractual or policy issue or disagreement, nor is it based on his unfriendly relationship with our New York City affiliates prior to 9/11 — which we will document and explain in additional correspondence later on during the campaign. In fact, we invited several candidates with whom we have had substantial disagreement on policy issues because we feel very strongly that our members have the right to hear from all candidates, not just those who tow the IAFF line.

Regrettably, the situation with former Mayor Giuliani is very different. His actions post 9/11 rise to such an offensive and personal attack on our brother and sisterhood — and directly on our union — that the IAFF does not feel Rudy Giuliani deserves an audience of IAFF leaders and members at our own Presidential Forum.

The disrespect that he exhibited to our 343 fallen FDNY brothers, their families and our New York City IAFF leadership in the wake of that tragic day has not been forgiven or forgotten.
In November 2001, our members were continuing the painful, but necessary, task of searching Ground Zero for the remains of our fallen brothers and the thousands of innocent citizens that were killed, because precious few of those who died in the terrorist attacks had been recovered at that point.

Prior to November 2001, 101 bodies or remains of fire fighters had been recovered. And those on the horrible pile at Ground Zero believed they had just found a spot in the rubble where they would find countless more that could be given proper burial.

Nevertheless, Giuliani, with the full support of his Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen, decided on November 2, 2001, to sharply reduce the number of those who could search for remains at any one time. There had been as many as 300 fire fighters at a time involved in search and recovery, but Giuliani cut that number to no more than 25 who could be there at once.

In conjunction with the cut in fire fighters allowed to search, Giuliani also made a conscious decision to institute a "scoop-and-dump" operation to expedite the clean-up of Ground Zero in lieu of the more time-consuming, but respectful, process of removing debris piece by piece in hope of uncovering more remains.

Mayor Giuliani's actions meant that fire fighters and citizens who perished would either remain buried at Ground Zero forever, with no closure for families, or be removed like garbage and deposited at the Fresh Kills Landfill.

Our Local presidents at the time attempted to meet with the Mayor to stop this despicable treatment of those who perished, but he refused to even see them face-to-face.
The scoop-and-dump continued. And when hundreds of family members of the fallen joined with our affiliate leadership and members to protest Giuliani's decision, he ordered senior officers of the New York Police Department to arrest 15 of our FDNY brothers, including a number of local elected IAFF leaders.

Giuliani modified his policy after the protest because public opinion was so strongly with our members. Ultimately, he was forced to put the fire fighters back on the pile. Our protests were later proven justified as more bodies were ultimately recovered and those families given a chance for some closure and a decent burial.

Giuliani argued that the change was for our own safety, but his argument was empty and without substance. Fire fighters had been on that pile since minutes after the twin towers fell — why all of a sudden, after nearly two months working on the pile, was Giuliani concerned about fire fighter safety?

In our view, he wasn't really concerned. The fact is that the Mayor's switch to a scoop-and-dump coincided with the final removal of tens of millions of dollars of gold, silver and other assets of the Bank of Nova Scotia that were buried beneath what was once the towers. Once the money was out, Giuliani sided with the developers that opposed a lengthy recovery effort, and ordered the scoop-and-dump operation so they could proceed with redevelopment.
In the first few days immediately after the disaster, Giuliani had said he was committed to the recovery of those lost "right down to the last brick." We believed him at the time. But, what he proved with his actions is that he really meant the "last gold brick."

Giuliani crucified fire fighters after our protest and publicly stated that our members were essentially acting like babies, that they didn't have the market cornered on grief. His insensitive statements demonstrated his inability to grasp what members of the FDNY were experiencing.
What Giuliani showed is a disgraceful lack of respect for the fallen and those brothers still searching for them. He exposed our members and leaders to arrest. He valued the money and gold and wanted the site cleared before he left office at the end of 2001 more than he valued the lives and memories of those lost.

Our members deserved the right to continue with a full search for their lost brothers and other innocent victims. Proudly, as you know, the fire service has a code similar to the military, where we leave no one behind. Recovering even a piece of a turnout coat or helmet gave our FDNY brothers and sisters and the families of the fallen some small semblance of peace, something to honor. But hundreds remained entombed in Ground Zero when Giuliani gave up on them.

The fundamental lack of respect that Giuliani showed our FDNY members is unforgivable - and that's why he was not invited. Our disdain for him is not about issues or a disputed contract, it is about a visceral, personal affront to the fallen, to our union and, indeed, to every one of us who has ever risked our lives by going into a burning building to save lives and property.

We have heard from some affiliates that Giuliani's campaign is beginning to reach out to our locals, looking to build support. If you are contacted by Giuliani, Von Essen, or a representative of the Giuliani campaign, we hope you will say not just, "No," but, "Hell no." And please let the IAFF Political Affairs Department know about it by calling (202) 824-1582.

Hitler in New Form

So i've been doing some reading recently and I stumbled upon one of my favorite radio personalities website, Michael Savage, and recent attacks against his Freedom of Speech. Granted he can be a little "too honest" in his opinions but I don't find him wrong majority of the time. I do agree that the illegal immigration subject is a touchy one with a lot of emotions going around but there's a lot of changes that need to be made as soon as possible.

Recently the San Francisco Supervisor of the 11th district, Gerardo Sandoval, is attempting to introduce a resolution condeming Michael Savage and getting him fired. This same supervisor has also made a lot of "Anti-Americanism" comments in his tenure as an elected official.

While as a guest on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" he was asked numerous questions and he was given NUMEROUS opportunities to amend his comment and he refused. And when off camera he threw insults calling the hosts "rude and rabid".

On top of his Anti-americanism comments previously stated he also is an advocate of making sure Americans are responsible for paying for the Green Cards and Citizenships of illegal immigrants and in the previously stated talk show made comments that if the "Republican law makers in Washington D.C." pass an immigration law asking for the arrest of people who cater or hire illegal immigrants that he would make sure he would tell his police to ignore those laws promoting lawlessness and Anarchy
